“With every mile, I wasn’t just getting closer—I was stacking Compounding Certainty.” -RDM-
This was the ride that all others had led to.
Over 3,500 miles in 7 days—across 5 states, 2 provinces, and 2 countries.
I’ve done big rides before, but nothing that compares in scale, endurance, or execution.
This one stood alone.
I bought the bike, built the bike, tuned it, broke it in on earlier runs—and then, after a focused prep, I climbed on and rode it north.
3,511 miles. No issues. No regrets.
I’ve debated how to present this ride—because it wasn’t just a route, it was a rite.
So I’ll break it down in phases:
But let me say this first:
The key to how well this turned out?
Planning.
I had every hotel dialed in from Las Vegas to Osoyoos, British Columbia.
After that? I left it to fate—and the flow of the North.
I’ve crossed Canada before, and I know the rule: don’t fight the North. Ride with it.
